Hi, I'm Snow, I was rescued from death row with my friend Ivy. I am a very timid lady, I prefer men to women, but my foster family is helping me come out of my shell. When I first got home my foster mum couldn't come near me without me shaking, I would scream if the cat would touch me, I lived down the back of the yard behind the shed for the first 5 days, mum and dad hand fed me treats, encouraged me to hang around while they play with the other dogs and gave me pats and cuddles daily. I had a sore on the back of my ear and both of my ears were gunky and stinky. My foster mum cleaned them day and night for two weeks and wow! I feel like a new woman!
I don't shake nearly as much as I did, I now sleep at the back door on the deck and I now ask my foster parents for cuddles and kisses! I am a happy lady now and I just love hanging out with my humans and foster siblings. I sleep nearly all day, will play every now and depending who I am with, I am a bit of goofball, but learning how to play. I am great on a lead, and love the car, so adventures would be great, it will make me more confident and bring more out of me quicker, but I don't do well in huge crowds or real noisy environments.
I am great with other dogs, take a little while to warm to new people, I prefer men to women which my foster mum thinks is weird, but we will get there. I must have another dog to live with, and please no cats. That's all for now, please send my foster mum a message if you want to meet me!

Adoption details
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the dog get along- you have the option of either taking the dog on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the dog on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the dog, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold dogs for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the dog, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters, especially when it comes to puppies under 5 months of age. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the dog. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you pay a $100 holding fee so we can hold the dog for a week- the day you collect the dog you will sign and adoption contract, and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $50 is non-refundable.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
