About Luna
Luna is a special little girl. She arrived in foster care at about 12 weeks old. Luna is a typical playful kitten, she loves to attack all her toys, especially toys with feathers and toys that make sounds as they move (rolled up tin foil balls make for perfect cat toys!). When Luna isn’t tearing around the house joyfully, she is a typical lap cat. She is demanding of affection and snuggles and she loves to follow her humans around the house. She also enjoys pouncing on their feet playfully.
Now what if I told you this incredible kitten was blind? Yes! Dear little Luna is blind but suspected to be able to see shadows. Luna will be having a follow up vet appointment while in care to get to the bottom of her condition. Otherwise, her initial vet visit showed no signs of anything abnormal.
Luna will happily live with cats or a gentle dog, but because of her sight, Luna will need a slow introduction to cats, as she is blind she can’t read body language and often oversteps her boundaries with the resident cat! Luna can be frightened by young children and would most likely suit a home with children over 4. And finally, Luna will need to be a strictly indoor cat for her own safety. This will work out better for you anyway, as she will always be home to entertain and love you!
Medical notes
Luna is blind or partially blind and 2 separate veterinarians have found no issues with Luna's eyes so blindness is suspected to be congenital.
This still leaves Luna one of the cutest, most happy kittens around!
