About Tilly (AV1020)
Hey hey hey! Are you up for a good play?
I'm Tilly and I'm a little fire-cracker, a bundle of fun and joy and excitement. I'm an intelligent and loyal lass who is quick-witted and eager to learn. Like any baby, I am still figuring out the world around me. I'm looking for a family that will make me a big part of their life every day. I love to be inside with you, and included in fun family activities like walks and jogs and trips to the beach and the park and... you name it, I'll join in!
I'm a kelpie and as you know, we're working dogs through and through. You might not have sheep or cows for me to herd but I'll need you to give me other things to keep my brain active - not just now, but for the rest of my life!
Taking me to training classes is a must - I'm not a tiny puppy but I need that chance to learn and it will help us form a great bond. Walks every day are essential (twice would be good!) and things like food enrichment toys are awesome. I would love to be a tradie's dog, or live on a hobby farm, or just with an active family in the 'burbs.
I'm good with kids but have lots of enthusiasm and a real boing in my step so kids over 8 are recommended. I would be happy to live with an older male dog and cats are okay as long as they stand up to me (it's almost irresistable if they just run away!).
I'm a really gorgeous girl looking for my perfect life. Maybe I'm what you're looking for too!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
