Small Female Kelpie Dog

On Hold
Gypsy came into care weighing a massive 7 kgs when she should have been 11kgs at least
That was a few weeks ago now and she is almost 12gks and looks great. Her coat even has a shine to it.
She is 14mths old and hasn't had a lot of experiences but has come a long way and is just delightful.
She is your typical kelpie. When she around other dogs she loves to bark at them and herd them but on her own she is quiet gentle and relaxed.
If you haven't had a kelpie before it would be highly recommended that you research the breed as they don't suit everyone,. Gypsy is a smart girl and willing to learn so will need time put into her to bring the best out of her.
She is crate trained and house trained, hasn't jumped farm fences while she has been in care. She loves being inside but sleeps in her crate at night. She is still a bit nervous in the car and is reluctant to get in but that will improve with time and some one on one.
Kelpies are not dogs for suburbia unless they have a large back yard and a job to do.
