About Kaisa
Kaisa is currently our longest term dog, he has been awaiting for a loving forever home for more than 75 days (30.05.18) in the refuge and many weeks in the pound where he found himself after getting himself caught on a fence, underweight with a big chain attached to him. He was initially very wary of people and we were unsure if we would be able to rehabilitate and rehome him. He has since learnt to trust and adores those he does trust – he waits patiently at the front of his pen every afternoon to be let out into the very large fenced area out the back, where he repeats many happy zoomies, has a little “bark off” with another refuge dog then continues his happy zoomies 😍 he is a beautifully natured boy who is always happy to see you, his whole body wags to show you just how happy he is.. you can’t help but smile when with Kaisa. He loves the company of people he knows and enjoys going for walks, he is happy to be included with anything you do. After his initial excitement he walks well on leash and is willing to learn, he will make a very loving and loyal companion. Kaisa can be a little unsure of some people when first meeting them – especially men but doesn’t take long to warm up to them. Kaisa would be well suited to a moderately active home who enjoy going for walks with teenagers or no children.
He comes desexed, microchipped, registered with the local council, vet checked, up to date vaccinations and regularly wormed and flea'd.
