About Larry
Larry is a beautiful senior dog and is looking great at 13 years young. Adjusting to foster care has been a breeze for Larry, he has shown us that he is very social with other dogs of all ages and sizes and is also good with horses and free range chickens.
Being 13, he does have some joint and arthritis issues in his back legs which is easily managed with daily supplements for supports. Otherwise he is in great health.
He is great on lead and stays close by your leg, and has also shown to be great off leash roaming the property in foster care. He loves to snuggle on the lounge with his foster parents and has no issues with sharing his beds with other dogs. He is a very happy boy that has a lot of love to give during his senior years and we are looking for a special retirement home for this boy.
He must be allowed inside and given both a quality diet and daily joint supplements for support and health. He could easily adapt to a home with another dog or in a home as a very much loved only dog. He has shown to be good with dog savvy kids.
He has also met cats and didn't show any issues with these either.
He isn't asking for much, a nice place to sleep, a good diet and lots of love and affection in his last few years of living. He could adapt to both a suburban or rural living lifestyle, and he hasn't shown any escape artist behaviours.
Larry is located on the Central Coast and he is ready for his new home now.
Medical notes
Arthritis in the back legs.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
