Stanley is around 11 months old and believed to be a bull arab cross. He stands just below knee height and is around 25kg with minimal brushing needed on his coat.
Stanley is a great boy who would love being either with a family, couple or single person. He is very intelligent and loves company. Stanley gets along with other dogs and we have had no problems with introducing children or strangers to him.
Stanley is a smart boy and has been learning the rules of living indoors. He walks well on lead and is corrected easily. He is responding well to sit commands and comes when called. He has no problems being outdoors or alone.
Stanley will need a home with a back yard as he loves to play and still has some puppy habits, so you will need to have lots of toys for him to chew on. He is great that he does not pull washing off the line or chew on anything except his toys and blanket.
Stanley has a great appetite and is not food protective. He cleans his plate within minutes. Stanley enjoys sitting out in the sun, playing with other dogs and getting out for walks. He does not seem to like getting wet and avoids ponds and puddles (and tries to avoid bathtime). Stanley will try and curl up on your knee and will happily sit beside you for a nap or pat. Though you will have to watch him, he does like to sneak up onto the bed or couch for quiet time.
Stanley is the boy you want around who will remind you how loved you are, He will greet you at the door with an excited wag and sit comfortably while watching you work in the kitchen or any other room. He wants to be with his family and will follow from room to room and be on hand to help or just watch over. Stanley is not destructive when left alone but does enjoy throwing around old balls and chew toys. He also loves special treats.
