About Mikey ~ Bull Arab x (on trial 18/5/2018)
Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Mikey, when I came to dog rescue a couple of weeks ago with my brother and sister I wasn't in a good state but since I've been with my foster carers I've become healthy and confident.
Currently I live with kids, cats, chickens, a kelpie that I can't keep up with and an old golden retriever that makes the rules in the house.
I've met so many dogs on walks and now they're all my friends. I love cuddles, attention, walks and play time.
Occasionally I get put outside because I go to the toilet on the floor but I'm working on changing that. At the moment I sleep in a crate next to a children's bed and I sleep there nice and quiet all night but I'd love to sleep on the bed.
Mikey is a lovable 13 week old Bull Arab X and is ready for adoption. He sits and responds well to stimulation and would continue to respond well to further training.
Mikey's brother Matt is also available for adoption.
As Mikey is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Mikey, please contact his foster carer Casey on crazycaseycollis@gmail.com Mikey is in Maitland, NSW (near Newcastle).
Mikey's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
