About Anne
Anne is a beautiful little Corgi X Cattle Dog with a very sweet, loving nature.
Weighing in at about 14kgs, she is a beautiful couch companion who loves a cuddle and to fall asleep watching a movie. She loves to sit beside you while you work and keep you company.
She is also a sly little Miss and will sneak into bed with you given half the chance! But with the cooler months coming, she is a great cuddle buddy if you don't mind. She will sleep through the night in her own bed with her furry companion if enforced.
Obviously lovingly cared for for 8 years, she is beautifully house trained and quickly found her way around her foster home to take care of her business outside like a perfect lady without any prompting.
Anne came into SHARI care with her mother and has always had doggy company in her life for 8 years. Anne will need to be placed with another dog of a similar size with a relaxed nature to keep her company. She can be timid at first but soon bonds with her doggy friends in her home. She is new to walking on a leash and a doggy friend could show her the ropes. She loves to do zoomies in the backyard with her foster brothers, something it seems she has missed out on living with her older Mumma dog. A good natured, playful furry brother or sister would bring a lot of joy to this little lady's life.
She is untested with cats or children, though her foster carer believes that with slow introductions, and with children who are gentle with animals, she should make friends with them just fine. Anne is located in Alexandra Hills, QLD.
Cat Friendly: Untested
Dog Friendly: yes
Child Friendly: Unknown
House trained: Yes
Separation Anxiety: No but will need a doggy friend for company
Indoor/outdoor dog? Both
Medical notes
Anne will be desexed, vaccinated & microchipped.
Anne has some dental issues that are to be expected of a Corgi her mature age, and as such may require dental maintenance in the future. Veterinary appointment indicated one tooth is cracked however not infected nor causing any immediate issues.
Adoption details
ADOPTION:
To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com
Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
