Barry

Barry ,The Baz, Mr Cool . Just three of Barrys names we have come to call him and trust me he could be called any number of names highly suitable afterall with his character Barry is a walking name book .
Right off the bat let’s forget about Barry’s looks . Being a maltese he is small white and walks like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever .
Barry has certainly come out of his former shell and acts just like you would expect from a dog. He currently lives in shared household so Barry is no stranger to being polite and having great table manners . Barry is pretty much an outdoor dog during the day however come late afternoon he knows there is always a soft bed and blanket waiting for him .
During the day Barry scopes out the garden like an imaginary game of hide and seek he is often wandering around looking under every rock or trotting beside another dog working in a team patrolling for lizards . Barry enjoys the spoils of inside and ok here he is allowed on the lounge and often on the bed to watch a movie BUT come bed time Barry knows its to the kitchen and straight onto HIS allocated spot . Barry shares his bed with several others .

I wouldn"t say Barry is a barker THANKFULLY. However if there is a knock on the door or the gate he will sound an alarm .Barry is a robust loving soul he is very content and learns quickly . Barry walks great on the lead and Ive been able to allow him off the lead while on the beach . Barry is dog friendly cat chicken and duck friendly . A recent escaped PET RAT didn"t even turn his head .
Barry has been learning the meaning of touch and while he still looks at me like a crazy woman when I pick him up to kiss and cuddle, he has understood it’s a good thing and will often initiate the first move .

Barry is housetrained but still will sneak in a raised leg on occasion .Barry is a good eater accepting dry food and his favourite dog roll . Friendly with our daughter he understands the difference between adult and child . Barry here is just one of the pack But I believe he would love a chance to be his own dog and become the spotlight .With doggy playmates either live in or as regular trips to the park or beach .

Overall Barry is just Barry a great little all rounder easy to take places happy at home He loves a lap so don"t think he is a foot stool Barry is more a knee warmer .Barry would make a great addition to a family or perhaps the first addition .He is perfect for first time dog owners or anyone who knows a trait or two .
