About Tora
Tora is a glass half full kinda girl! She finds everything interesting and exciting – including other dogs and people which are her favourite things in the world.
Tora’s also a quick learner. She came to us with no training but in the short time she’s spent with us she has already learnt sit and to take treats nicely. She would love to find a family which will teach her new things such as how to walk in a straight line when out and about. While she hasn’t been dtaught any tricks yet, once she understands what you want she’s very eager to please – especially if there are treats on offer!
Tora is named after the Japanese word for ‘tiger’ after her beautiful coat - even though her nature is more that of a playful kitten! She is always keen to meet other dogs and would also love to learn how to introduce herself nicely so that she makes a good first impression and can make new friends to run around with (she wants to get to the playing part straight away!).
If you have lots of affection to give and want to help this enthusiastic youngster grow into a beautiful mature adult then Tora could be waiting for you!
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $265.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $165.00
Entire Cat - $185.00

Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
