About Chase
Chase is a gorgeous 10-12 month old ridgeback x dane mix that will be a 40kg+ boy. He loves pats and cuddles and would prefer a home with a dog friend or one where people are home pretty often. He's a chilled out dog that will sit for hours enjoying pats if you will give them to him. He also can be excitable and will need ongoing training. Chase suffered a nerve injury to his front leg as a young pup and because of this he is a special needs boy. One of his front legs lacks muscle tone and causes him to limp. He currently is medicated to help with pain management. It is possible that these meds may be an ongoing requirement for the rest of his life. He may get arthritis earlier than other dogs due to the injury. Despite his injury he still manages to be quite an active dog that enjoys running with other dogs and walks.
Chase walks well on and off the lead and doesn't stray too far on off lead walks. He comes to his name and can sit on command. He is crate trained and likes sleeping in the crate.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
