Bodie

Bodie really sweet lovable little guy, He looks almost identical to his brother Sumac, but is a little smaller and more golden in colour. Bodie loves his toys and copes pretty well with the rough and tumble of puppy play, but with his gentle quieter nature we are careful to give him some quiet time too. He really enjoys a quiet lap cuddle and cuddling up for a nap. Bodie is fully immunised now so is able to come out on the puppy walks in the bush. He just loves exploring and running around with the other bigger puppies and with his brother. He knows his name and comes back nicely when he is called. Mostly he is off lead and is just so good. Every now and then he has a short stint on the lead just to get used to it, and he is doing very well indeed. He sleeps in a crate overnight and with careful toileting he and his brother can get through the night til about 6 am. sleeping soundly.

Bodie was surrendered during our outstation desexing program with a group of puppies. Theywere in quite poor condition when they arrived, but time, treatment, lots of good food and love and care has helped him blossom into the gorgous boy he is today. He would make a great family pet with older children and would be a good friend for another playful friendly dog. Bodie will be between 15-20kg fully grown.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Bodie's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Bodie is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
