Winston 3rd

Winston is a cheerful waggy tail little guy who gets on with all his doggy family in foster care and is bombproof with humans of all ages. He loves a walk and is very trustworthy off lead. He is not interested in going very far away and comes back when he is called. He is nice with the puppies and loves playing with them with the toys. Having said that he can keep up with the big dogs too. Winston is just an all-round great little dog who enjoys life, cooperates with his humans and is a genuine low maintenance fellow. He is a gorgeous long dog who weighs in at just shy of 10 kg.

Winston came to us through the Tennant Creek Pound. He was found wandering and his owners declined to pay the impound fee to get him back. He hasn't breached the fences in foster care or even tried to, so the gate was probably left open. He would be great in a family situation, and a good mate for another playful friendly dog. Equally he would be a great constant companion for an older person.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Winston's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Winston is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
