Hazelnut has come from a potentially awful situation so he's quite a timid boy, but with other rabbits he is a lot more confident and happy and he's very curious. So with a friend, he shouldn't take long to settle down. We do bunny dates to make sure rabbits are compatible, as it's important for them to choose a friend. A desexed female will be best, and he seems to like small breeds.
There's nothing noted with Hazelnut at this stage and he appears very healthy, though he has been treated for and recovered from a couple of issues from the filthy conditions he seemed to have lived in. We do have a two week health cover with our vet clinic if anything is of concern after adoption.
If you would like to consider any of our rabbits listed on PetRescue, please feel free to message us on here, email Leigh at aapsbunsnpigs@gmail.com or call our shelter directly & speak to Leigh.
Our shelter is open to the public Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 3.30pm & Sundays & some public holidays 11.00am to 3.00pm.
