About Daisy
Hello, I'm Daisy.
I was recently surrendered to Lort Smith shortly after arriving in emergency. Unfortunately I had been hit by a car and was found to have a severely broken tail and back leg which both required amputation. Two days after my surgery I was racing around and feeling great, you wouldn't even know I am missing either!
I am now searching for a new home where I will be kept strictly indoors as the outside world is not a place for me anymore. I hope my new home will have plenty of room to pounce around.
I have recently been in foster care with a big friendly doggy who I liked to sleep next to. I didn’t mind him as he gave me space when I wanted to be alone. I'm open to living with a calm gentle dog, or as an only pet.
I love to play and sometimes my teeth get in the way. I don't intend to bite and I am usually quite gentle but for this reason I should not be rehomed with young children.
Do I sound like the girl for you?
Medical notes
Fully recovered from leg and tail amputation, following car accident.
