About Treu DL1889
Treu (pronounced Tray) is an ~8 year old Rottweiler who is well trained and obedient. She is very smart and already knows sit, stay, paw, drop, and will even sit & wait for her food until given the ok.
As Treu is recovering from recent surgery, she is looking for a comfy home to relax in, and can be fostered with the view to adopt. She loves a cuddle, particularly a chest rub; and she loves food. She is currently on medication post-surgery, and she has no trouble taking these with her meals.
Treu has beautiful manners. She always waits for you to allow her onto the couch, even if you've given permission before. She doesn't jump up on you, or grab your things, she only takes the toys that she's been given to play with. She is very gentle with taking treats and chewing on a good bone keeps her occupied.
Treu loves to be indoors with you, she is house trained and a good watch dog. She is loyal and loving, very sweet and sooky in nature! She just like to be near you and will often follow you around the house; but given time to settle in, she will lay in her bed with her toy & just check up on you occasionally.
We're told she is friendly with kids, has been good with male dogs, though not all female dogs, and untested with cats. We are looking for a home where she can be your only pet at this stage. All Treu wants is to be loved - She is content being by your side, happy just to be in your company.
Treu isn't shy of water, showers, loud noises, anything really. Her foster Mum says "While we haven’t spent much time together yet, it seems she is quite socialised and a very lovely dog to have around. An all-round darling." She seems to get a bit exhausted during walks, so short ones are best for now until she is feeling better.
If you'd love to welcome this super sweet girl into your loving home, please contact us by email today to apply!
