About Dora
Well look who is ready to find her forever home! Yep, its Dora! Dora is a Great Dane x Bull Arab born on 6th November, 2011.
Beautiful Dora is an absolutely gorgeous gal who is super affectionate and a total delight to have around. She shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety.
Dora loves to be out for a walk and she has very nice lead manners. She can be quite the cheeky girl and she loves to show off her playful personality. Dora is a perfect house mate as she is also house trained.
She has some quirky traits and one of them is that she does like to start a conversation with you. If she needs or wants something from you, she will "talk" to you until she is let out for toileting, fed, or just in general has some attention paid to her!
Dora loves to be the centre of attention and because of this, she will need to be the only dog in the house. We also think that she may have a tendancy to chase cats and would be best not to be rehomed with a cat in residence.
This beautiful girl arrived at the facility severely emancipated and in bad health. With lots of loving care from staff, volunteers and our vets, she is now well enough to be in her own home sharing her love around.
Dora has received an operation for pyometra which she has recovered well from. Since being at the facility, she has gained 10 kilos and is now at her perfect weight as advised by our vest. She is also suffering from arthritis, however at this stage she does not require any further treatment other than than to ensure that her weight is monitored so as to not put added stress on her joints. Dora also has a potential tumor on her eye. She is waiting to see an eye specialist for her eye and any treatment that is required in regard to her tumor (including any necessary operations) will be paid for by the facility.
Dora is a beautiful girl who would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Dora will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Dora has had a rough life so far, however she is still full of love and cheekiness and is ready to start her new beginning with an awesome family who will show her what life can be.
This incredibly beautiful lady will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Dora's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Dora is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Medical notes
Dora has arthritis which at this stage does not require medical attention - but does mean her weight needs to be monitored to ensure that she does not put extra strain on her joints.
She also has a potential tumor on her eye. CCACF will be covering the costs of any operation or medical treatment needed in regard to this tumor.
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
