About Tallulah
Tallulah has come into rescue at one year old with all her beautiful puppy innocence intact. She is like a sunbeam, pure and full of joy, but also quite feisty and spirited. We think she is Foxy crossed with Dachshund, which makes her a very sweet and spicy handful, like a hit of good chilli chocolate. This very friendly girl is still very much a puppy and is looking for a home with at least one other fun loving dog who wants to play all day long! Tallulah is slightly timid at the dog park so still getting used to seeing lots of other dogs of all sizes running around together. She will look to her human for reassurance but her confidence grows daily and her recall is excellent. Tallulah's energy level is quite high and while in foster care she has been going out for two energetic walks a day. She’s a smart girl with a responsive, enquiring mind and her breed demands an owner who can provide her with all the stimulation and training she needs to live an active, interesting life. Tallulah absolutely loves food and is sometimes a bit possessive of her dinner bowl and bones if other dogs come too near so will need an appropriately experienced owner to guide her. She travels well in the car and is good with her foster carer’s cat. Tallulah weighs 6 kilos and is mostly (but not completely) house trained although she is almost there. A home with kids a bit older would suit her best as she needs active play and good exercise.
Tallulah comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on monthly heartworm prevention for $425. The adoption fee also includes NSW Local Council lifetime registration. Tallulah is NOT available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT).
