About Mash (CaV18-129) *Free to adopt*
Mash is a lovely older lad, calm and affectionate and easy-going - the perfect housemate. Training a kitten is hard so adopting Mash is the perfect option for the lazy cat owner. He could write "Cat Companionship for Dummies."
Mash doesn't know why he's homeless - neither do we, he just found himself in the pound and now here he is! He's a bit down in the dumps to be honest, and would like to be adopted sooner rather than later.
If you like the idea of changing the world, but can't really be bothered - adopt Mash and you'll change his world forever!
Mash has obviously done some roaming in his time, but he would rather be a spoilt lounge cat now. His pale features and his FIV status mean he needs to be indoor-only. Yes, in his younger days Mash picked up FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). It's not transmissable to humans or other animals like dogs and it is actually really hard to transmit between cats. It's not a big deal and shouldn't put you off this fabulous gent. Just ask us if you have any questions.
So here you go - adopt a cat, change the world. It's that easy!

Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
