About Matt ~ Bull Arab x (on trial 13/5/2018)
I’m Matt and I’m a 13 week old Bull Arab X. I didn’t have a very nice start in life, being neglected and underweight ... but look at me now! I am a handsome, cool, calm and collected for my age, but don’t let that fool you as I’m still very cheeky and playful!
I’m very social with other dogs and love playing with my 3 foster bros! I am great with kids, but due to my potential size as I grow up, extra manners training may be needed. I know my name, I can sit, come, and respond to “no”. I would be well suited to someone that can give me plenty of love, exercise, and be part of the family.
I love the yard and the outdoors, but I also love a bed inside too! I would love some that can exercise me and play with me regularly.
I will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as I would be too lonely on my own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
My siblings Ziggy and Mikey are also available for adoption.
As Matt is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Matt, please contact his foster carer Lori on lori.whiteman@hotmail.com Matt is in Whitebridge, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Matt's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
