About Adam ~ 13 year old Maltese (on trial 17/5/2018)
This very handsome older gentleman is Adam, a 13 year old Maltese who has plenty of love to give.
Adam just loves human company and will follow you around happily. He loves a walk so still requires a daily walk as he just loves to get out and about. Adam also enjoys a car ride. He would make the perfect little doggy companion.
Adam enjoys his food and isn’t a fussy eater. He has been well looked after and is in good health. He has recently had a dental and had to have 5 teeth out but after this seemed to get a new lease on life.
Adam currently sleeps on his carers bed with their own dog and will sleep through the night. He is toilet trained but needs some guidance with a doggy door.
Adam literally dances for joy if you have gone out and come home.
Adam loves children and other dogs so this boy would suit a family as well but we really feel someone who is retired and looking for a furry friend would be ideal.
If you are interested in meeting Adam, please contact Sharron on 0423331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com who is taking enquiries for him. Adam is located at Gillieston Heights with his foster carers Janis and Peter and is available for adoption interstate.
Adam’s adoption fee is $250 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
