About Bear ~ Border Collie X Bull Arab (on trial 1/6/18)
Meet Bear, he is a 1 year old Border Collie x Bull Arab boy.
Bear is a gentle and such a loveable dog. He greets everybody, dogs and people, with a very friendly and affectionate attitude. He is very well socialized with other dogs, and loves to have a play.
Bear will grow up to be a medium dog. He will need plenty of affection and exercise. It would be a big plus if you have another dog as a companion/playmate plus a good size yard for to keep him entertained.
Bear is a very gentle and placid dog. He rarely barks. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children of over 8 years old.
Bear is still young but he has already learnt to sit and wait for his food. He does jump (very gently) when you first great him but settles down very quickly.
I do not recommend cats within the same household, he is ok with them inside the house, but if the cat wanders outside Bear trends to chase them.
For more information or to meet Bear, please email his foster mum Renee on renee_gordon@yahoo.com.au or phone on 0404 836 020. Bear is in Wyee NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Morisset) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bear’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
