About Nugget
We take into care many beautiful dogs and then along comes a Stunning Boy who is just such a good natured and loveable dog. Nugget is just the most affectionate cuddle me boy.
Nugget has come into our care after his former owner realised he just wasn’t cut out to be a farm dog. A full long coat he would come home covered in burrs after being out in the paddocks and his one vice was to round up the neighbours sheep.
So they clipped his coat so he is a a full long coat when his hair grows back Nugget will be stunning but having a full coat he will require regular grooming.
Currently in care at Castle Hill Nugget has won hearts with his handsome looks and happy nature. Social with all the dogs he has met he needs an experienced owner who will continue with his lead training and refine his manners.
We would dearly love to place Nugget in a home where his humans are home for him to take him walking and for him to be an integral family member.
Completely house trained and in care with another female shepherd Nugget has just fitted into his carers home without a backward step.
For more information on Nugget please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Nugget has been desexed fully immunised and has been flea treated and wormed

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
