About Biscuit
Dear little Biscuit is the only survivor of a litter of sick puppies surrendered to us on a se-sexing visit to one of the remote outstations of the Barkly. She has an incredible will to live, and as she has gained strength we have seen her become such a confident and mature little girl. We have listed her as a medium size as we do not know her breeding, but we think she will be small to small medium fully grown. She has short legs and a long body and at 10 week weighs only a few kilos. Despite this she will play with puppies and dogs many times her size, and loves to be involved in whatever is going on. She is a great little lap cuddler too, and friendly with new humans that she meets.
We think Biscuit would be great in a family home with older kids, and maybe another dog or cats. She really is a versatile little dog who will love walks and also outings to the coffee shop as well!
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Biscuit's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption. We try hard to match the dog to the person, ultimately looking for the best fit for the dog. Shipping fees are included in the adoption fee. We ship from Alice Springs airport to interstate homes.
