About Geneve ~ Wolfhound x Ridgeback (on trial 19/5/18)
Meet Geneve, she is a 6 month old Wolfhound x Ridgeback. She is a very gentle and placid dog. We have not heard her bark yet. Geneve would be suitable to large backyard owners. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children of all ages.
Geneve is very well socialized with other dogs, very friendly and affectionate to all.
Geneve will most likely grow up to be a large dog due to her breed. She has had a ruff start to life, being moved from home to home a lot, would love for her to go to a stable home.
It would be a big plus if you have another dog to show her the way, whilst being a companion and playmate to keep her company.
As Geneve is still young she will require training like any other puppy. She has learnt to sit and wait for her food.
Geneve shows interest in cats but if they get too close, she will back away with caution.
For more information or to meet Geneve, please email his foster mum Renee on renee_gordon@yahoo.com.au or phone on 0404 836 020. Geneve is in Wyee NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Morisset) and is available for adoption interstate.
Geneve’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
