About Scotchie
Scotchie is a sweet natured, cheeky terrier mix who loves nothing more than to cuddle up on a lap and chill out. With very polite house manners and a gentle nature, Scotch is looking for a quiet home to spend her days. She loves to accompany her human everywhere - whether it’s out to brunch (where she’ll nap at your feet, on your lap, or chow down on some scrambled eggs), watching TV, gardening or even a walk to the letterbox - Miss Scotchie loves to trot at your heels. Scotchie has some skin allergies so needs to be bathed once a week with allergy shampoo and conditioner. Somewhere in her life acquired some dental issues that have left her with some staining, but other than that she has a healthy, winning grin! She would be happiest in a home with a single person or couple to devote herself too, and isn’t opposed to sharing her home with other calm dogs or cats. Scotchie will need to live with someone who wants a constant companion and is happy for her to be inside all the time.

As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
