About Becky ~ Foxy X (on trial 5-5-2018)
Hi, I'm Becky and I look like a miniature German Shepherd but am really a Foxy little lady, only 4.5Kgs in weight!
At only 11 months, I still have lots to learn, because I can be a little naughty at times, in my excitement to play and be free. I'm toilet trained, so have very few accidents, if I can get outside into the yard through a doggy door.
I love playing with other dogs and get on very well with my foxy friend, who's a little bigger than me. We play tug-a-war with our toys, so having a companion of similar size would be great! I love car rides and I travel very well. I love going to the beach to swim in the calm water. I'm too tiny for rough surf!
I get on well with older children and I walk well on leash! I've never met a cat, so am not sure if I like them or not.
When I was a tiny puppy, I was left alone for long periods, so now I suffer from some separation anxiety but we're slowly getting over that. It may take a little longer but if I have someone who is at home with me most of the time, I think we can conquer that, together.
Love me and take care of me, and I will love and protect you and be your best friend.
At present, I'm located in the Charlestown, NSW, area and I am available for adoption interstate. If you think I would make a good companion for you, and you would like to adopt me, please contact Sue on suemasens65@hotmail or 0419 634 957.
Becky’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
