Woof! My name is Tyson.

I am an older gentleman who has unfortunately found himself in the shelter environment. It has been quite an overwhelming experience for myself, and I am very excited to find a forever family that will be my get-out-of-shelter ticket.

I am very friendly, and absolutely love my humans. There is nothing better than receiving a reeeeally good bum scratch, or getting lots of cuddles. I would love a family that will allow me to be an inside dog, and let me follow them around everywhere. Also they must be able to scratch my bum as I am not flexible enough to reach. That is definitely a deal breaker!

The staff at Blue Cross have been working on my positive reinforcement training and I have been responding very well. Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks is very wrong, as I am learning new things every day! I would love my future family to continue this training, but also provide me with lots of daily enrichment activities to keep my brain stimulated.

I am finding other dogs overwhelming at the moment, but I am not sure if that is just in the shelter. At this point in time, I will need to be housed as a single dog, and will need my owners to slowly work on my dog socialisation skills.
