Hello! I'm Valentina. Aren't the chocolate colours on my coat so pretty? And, I've got the sweetest personality too! I'm calm, gentle, snuggly and loving! Altogether now... aww!

Back at foster-land, I have a sister, Valarie with a striking coat too. While she's a bit more playful than me, I love to be stroked, cuddled and held. Sometimes I don't like it when you give more attention to another animal, so make sure to spread the love!

Since foster-mum hasn't had me for too long, and I'm only a pup, I am learning all sorts of cool things and sometimes already go outside to... do my business. I do sometimes have accidents and mouth a bit but I'm sure foster-mum will have me trained up in no time...she's working on it every day.

I am very good and gentle with the young children at foster mum's home and I don't mind them picking me up. I don't mind the adult dog here either and if she bothers me I will playfully chase her away for fun. I am a sleepy little girl at the moment, but am sure to become more energetic as I grow. I will fit into most homes, as long as you can give me plenty of exercise because I am expected to grow into a large dog.

I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying to Perth is absolutely worth it for animals who are located remotely if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you. TEACH ME TO BE A GOOD DOG
Want to know more about how to teach me to be a great dog? We dogs respond well to calm, assertive and consistent leadership from our humans. I’d like daily training so that I learn and keep on practicing sit, stay, come, down, and leave it. It will help me remember how to obey you. Also, if you always keep consistent boundaries, such as where I’m allowed to go in the house or what I’m allowed to do, it will mean that I always know the right way to behave. Socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important for my confidence. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from being a dog that creates mischief at home out of boredom!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!

Soon, I’ll be at the puppy teething age, so tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don’t get bored with them.
