Hi my name is Vaughn and I’m a little bundle of joy. I’m very chilled and love to laze around but I’m also happy to have the little humans play and lie on me. Im a good eater and am trying hard to learn all the things I need to know so I can be the best buddy you will ever have. I’m quite happy to be on my own but am also good with other dogs – I’m currently living with my sister. I sleep through the night and if I’m the dog for you I promise I’ll fit easily into your lifestyle almost like a comfortable pair of slippers or a big cuddly rug!!!

I CAN FLY!
A few hours flying to Perth is absolutely worth it for animals who are located remotely if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you. TEACH ME TO BE A GOOD DOG
Want to know more about how to teach me to be a great dog? We dogs respond well to calm, assertive and consistent leadership from our humans. I’d like daily training so that I learn and keep on practicing sit, stay, come, down, and leave it. It will help me remember how to obey you. Also, if you always keep consistent boundaries, such as where I’m allowed to go in the house or what I’m allowed to do, it will mean that I always know the right way to behave. Socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important for my confidence. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from being a dog that creates mischief at home out of boredom!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!

Soon, I’ll be at the puppy teething age, so tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. We puppies like to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so we don’t get bored with them.
