Decca ** cat, dog and people friendly

DECCA

Placid pup who takes time to find his confidence. He responds well to learning from older dogs so must be homed with another dog or someone who is home most of the time.

Still a little wary of people and unknown dogs but, warms to both if given the time and space.

He loves to play with his many toys and is not very destructive with them. Loves hard things to chew and squeaky balls.

He has learnt to behave around cats but, still has the puppy tendency to chase. There is no attempt to harm the cats though.

We found a harness the best to walk Decca with as he pulled against a collar/lead. He doesn’t like to be picked up, though if you kneel down to his level he can be cuddled.

He is not reactive to his ears, mouth or feet being touched and has already had his nails clipped by us.

Toilet training is a work in progress.

Decca will be a great dog for a family of older children 10yrs+ who are prepared to train him as he has the potential to be a steady dog

We are not sure how big he will grow, but probably on the larger side of medium Lab size
