Athena

My name is Athena, goddess of courage. I've been named this because I was so brave being locked in a concrete pound cell in NSW for over a month. Even though I was scared and confused (where did my family go?), I was always kind to the people who came to feed me. Then one day, a man came and drove me all the way to a nice sounding place called Queensland.

When I arrived I was greeted by some super kind people, dogs and children. It was all a bit overwhelming and I got scared. But I remembered my courage and played and got lots of pats and cuddles. Oh boy, do I love cuddles. Human laps are so warm and kind and safe. I started feeling safe and gave my bum a wiggle to show the kind humans I appreciated them saving me.

I love to play with the smaller dogs in the house, that is super fun. There is a really big, boisterous girl who frightens me a little bit so I'd really prefer a calmer doggo friend to play with.
