About Herbie
Handsome, handsome and some more handsome, add in a bundle of fun and you have Herbie! A gorgeous Greyhound born on 6th January, 2014, Herbie can't wait to find his forever home.
Herbie is an affectionate boy who loves to love you! He enjoys meeting new people and everyone he meets falls in love with him. He likes experiencing new places and is always ready for an adventure.
He shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety and although he doesn't seem worried by loud noises, we would recommend he be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Herbie loves loves loves his toys and he will happily amuse himself for hours playing. He likes to please you and he is a smart lad which will help with his continued training. To assist with this, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee.
He seems to be very good with cats and could be rehomed with a cat in residence with a proper introduction. Herbie should not be rehomed with pocket pets as we believe he will chase them.
Herbie has met quite a few other dogs here at the facility and he seems to tend to just stick to himself. He shows no aggression towards them, but may need more socialisation time with other dogs. BUT - show this boy another greyhound and he goes nuts! He loves to play with other greyhounds.
As Herbie is a Greyhound, until he has gained his green collar, by law Herbie will be required to wear a muzzle whenever he is out walking in public. However, he is in no way, shape or form aggressive.
Herbie is a gorgeous guy who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Herbie will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful lad will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Herbie's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Herbie is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Herbie is looking forward to meeting you
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
