About Dave
Oh, Dave! What a big, beautiful cat this guy is - and a total demon for playtime!
With huge green eyes and the most remarkable fur, Dave will have you falling in love quick-smart. Sweet and super-affectionate, he loves nothing more than a nice chat and keeping an eye on things from up high as you go about your day.
One of Dave's favourite hobbies is 'touching' - he grabs your ankles with his so-soft paws as you walk past, gently taps your hand as you're getting his food out, and wraps his arms around your neck like a scarf when you're relaxing in front of the TV. A real larrikin, he also gets a kick out of jumping out at you from behind doors and sofas! :)

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will enjoy my energetic, youthful nature and constant company! I'm not always 'in your face', but I do like to be in the same room as my humans whenever possible.
I'm reasonably unbothered by the cats and friendly Staffy in my foster home - we even sleep together on the bed sometimes - but if I had a choice, I'd prefer to be your 'one and only'. I do love to rule the roost!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm very active, but looooove a good snooze too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'll be best suited to a family with older children who know how to handle cats - and understand the limits of our patience!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd prefer to be a solo pet, but can tolerate the company of other cats and dogs if I must. I'm not a fighter, but I'm certainly quick with a slap if I'm feeling annoyed ;)

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
