Meet the amazing Janus. At 10 years young this little girl has a big heart! Up until Janus was rescued by our group she didn't know that people could be kind and loving or that a dogs life could be happy and care free. Fast forward to now and she is a bundle of joy!
Janus has learnt that people can be trusted, and once she knows you, she is very loving and loyal. The beautiful Janus will make sure that you know when she wants some love because she will jump up on your lap and move her paws to show you that it is time for pats. She loves nothing more than a snuggle, walk or to just be in the company of her person. Janus has been in care since January and has received extensive vet work, but will still require ongoing visits to your local vet to treat and manage her chronic dry eye. Janus would suit an older person/ family that is quiet and relaxed, one that has the financial means and commitment to continue to support her recovery from neglect. She will also need regular grooming.
She is an indoor dog for the first time in her life, and is doing really well with her toileting, with only a few accidents when she cannot get outside. She is crate trained at night and can sit and drop for a treat.
Janus is currently living with a Cavalier King Charles and does love the company - so with a slow introduction, a home with another fur baby may be suitable. If you think that you could give Janus her happily ever after, please fill in an Expression of Interest.
