About Benny
Want to lose weight, Benny can show you how. When Benny first arrived he was FAT, his owner an elderly lady had lost her husband and was starting to suffer from dementia. She was not sure when she last fed Benny so fed him again, often it was meat pies! Now Benny is starting to see his waist for the first time, he is feeling more playful and a little more active and is happy having fun. He is not tiring so quickly and is really enjoying life. He loves a cuddle, walking and playing with his friends, a really lovely young man really to be a companion or a part of a loving family. He is desexed, chipped, immunised, heart worm tested and treated regularly for all the normal parasites.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
