Eddie is a quiet kinda guy. He is not a “in your face” attention seeker but every now and then he comes and places his friendly face on your lap and leans in for a hug and scratch.
He doesn’t make a good house guard as he may easily sleep through the thunderstorm let alone someone quietly sneaking into your yard and it may be because his hearing is not the best. He seems to react to gestures better than voice commands and he definitely takes notice if you have a piece of cheese or chicken in your hand.
Eddie gets along well with other dogs but he doesn’t seem to mind his own quiet time alone, therefore equally suited to a family where he would be an only dog or where people work full time.
Eddie walks well on the lead and is happy to sniff around but he has a comfortable slow pace and is a pleasure to walk with.
Eddie is a laid-back guy who doesn’t ask for much, just a safe and loving home to spend his senior years with some tasty bones, leisurely walks and some occasional ear scratches.
