About Cookie Crumble ~ Maltese x Chi (on trial 16/6/18)
Cookie Crumble is a 12 year old, Maltese x Chihuahua girl.
If you want a companion to spend time with then Cookie is your girl. She loves spending time with you, does not matter if you are pottering in the garden or sitting on the lounge, cooking dinner in the kitchen, she is never far away. Our catchphrase is “look down before you turn around”.
Cookie does not like being left alone for long periods of time, nor is she a fan of thunderstorms. She enjoys her walks but like some little dogs, she does not realise her size and can bark at bigger dogs.
Cookie currently lives with 5 other dogs; two very large Bull Mastiffs, two smaller Foxie X's and a Terrier X. They get along well. Cookie has shown some possessiveness toward her foster mum when snuggling on the lounge or bed.
Although Cookie lives with other dogs, she is best suited to an only dog home, so that she can focus all her love on her new human and not compete for attention.
Cookie is wherever you are but is allowed to come and go in and out of the house whenever she pleases. Cookie sleeps inside at night in your bed and is the best hot water bottle ever.
For more information or to meet Cookie, please contact her foster carer Joanne on designer.stable@bigpond.com Cookie is in foster care in Dora Creek, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Cookie’s adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
