About Sasha
Hi there,
I sense with interest your desire to becoming my family. This might be a good time to familiarise yourself with the meaning of Exuberant! You know: full of energy, excitement and cheerfulness, because I can fit all those traits, and more, into my compact little frame.
While I have been waiting for you to find me, I have been sharing the pleasure of my company with a foster family. I have heard them comment about my fantastic personality. They enjoy the way we do everything together - we eat together, play together, watch TV together and nap on the lounge together. I can wait , if not patiently, while you go out and do other things, but really - WHY??? My company is more than what anybody needs for sustenance.
My foster family seem pretty pleased with the way I am learning my manners. I do my best to behave but sometimes my exuberance gets in the way. Since I have been in my foster home, I have learnt to sit back and wait for dinner, because it is better to wait [Shrugs]. I am learning to speak their language and can understand various words and signals such as 'sit', 'drop' and 'ta'. 'On your back' is one of my favourites because it usually comes with a biggg belly rub. I enjoy walks and am slowly coming to terms with how not to pull too hard in front.
My foster family enjoy playing with me; I don't know why but they laugh and laugh and laugh when I am trying to fit two balls and a stick or two into my mouth at the same time, to protect them from being stolen of course. They store the sticks around the corner in a neat pile they call kindling or some such thing, but hey, it's perfect to play with.
I have excellent communication skills, with my foster family commenting that I'm like a Five year old chatterbox. I'm assuming that is a compliment because nothing else would suit me. I like to greet people as they enter the house, say goodbye when they leave, and let it be known know when I come back in from the garden. I have feelings and like to share them! I don't talk all the time but when it needs to be said, it's worth saying.
Have I mentioned my compact body? Well, at times, I can get into a 'full' play mode and can get a bit focused. During these times, I've noticed that my foster family tend to usher older relatives and any young children away from my play area, so I don't have to worry about them.
I would like to have all the attention to myself and would not like to share my house with any other furry animals.
If your are interested in continuing with a Family Application, I would be happy to discuss this more with you personally; perhaps we could test your ball skills in a relaxed meet and greet. Please address any correspondence to my staff at Second Chance Animal Recuse Front Office, with a reference of 'Sasha'. They are familiar with my requirements, and will be able to assist with any matters I didn't address above.
Lovingly
Sasha
