Mambo

Hi everyone, I'm Mambo!

I was recently transferred to Lort Smith from another rescue organisation with the hope of finding a new home. I am a sweet and lovable goofball with energy to burn!

I love cuddles and attention from my human friends and would love to go to a home where I can be inside with my new family.

I will need to go with a strong and confident handler that is willing to put in the work with me on my obedience and overall training. I promise I'm worth the effort!

I get along with other dogs but I need to learn not to rush at them when first meeting, as it can appear rude. For now I think I should be the only dog in the household until I learn some new obedience skills and doggy manners.

I haven't been tested with small animals, but the Lort Smith team think I would probably unintentionally scare them with my boisterousness.

I am quite jumpy when I get excited, so a home with no young children would be the best fit, I do not want to accidentally hurt them by knocking them over or scratching them with my claws.

In 2015, I presented with a head tilt and a sore eye. I had to have my eye removed however the tilt never resolved. For this reason I will be adopted out with a disclaimer. I think it just adds to my uniqueness!
