About Ban-Joe
Hi my name is Ban-Joe. I’m a six year old Bull Arab X and love the company of hoomans and other fur babies like me.
One of my favorite parts of the day is when my foster mum & dad come home from work, and I get the chance to talk to them, mainly telling them about my day playing with my 3 other foster fur siblings. I also tell them about the chickens and what they’ve been up to. They’re really good at understanding me and seem to know what I’m telling them. I think it makes them happy when we have our little chats.
My really best favorite time of the day though, is where I get to snuggle up on the couch with my siblings and foster mum & dad. I really love resting my face on their laps or chest, I think it’s their breathing and heart beat that really relaxes me.
I’ve come from a pound where we had to eat our food really fast and then run around looking for scraps, but my foster mum & dad are really helping me to realise that my siblings aren’t competition and that I will soon be loved by a new family and won’t have to hunt for my own food. I’m getting really good now, but am still learning.
I now know all the basic commands and learn really quickly. And my recall is really good. I used to jump fences but I think that was because I was really unhappy. I haven’t even looked at a fence since I moved to my foster home.
I’m not sure how I’ll be with really small animals as I haven’t really met any, apart from our nine chickens who don’t seem to bother me.
