About Piper
Piper is a lovely girl who is like most guinea pigs and is timid at first. She has lived with 3 other guinea pigs her whole life, so she will need a small herd again. Guinea pigs are social animals who need the company of at least another guinea pig anyway.
Medical notes
Piper had her teeth properly checked under anaesthetic when she was speyed. Our vet found the left cheek teeth were more angled than normal with a slight wave to their pattern. They haven't changed in the time she's been at the shelter, so we don't think it will be too much of an issues, but it's important to get her checked up at a guinea pigs savvy vet every 6 months (every guinea pig needs this) and to keep her on a proper diet with lots of fibre (hay) and vitamin C.
