About Molly ~ Mixed Breed (on trial 8/7/2018)
Give it up for Molly! This gorgeous 1 year old Bits Of Everything dog is looking for her forever home. Will you be the winner? Molly and her satellite ears are looking for a home that promises to love her as much, if not more than her foster family.
Molly is a medium to large size brindle female who will melt your heart with her brown eyes. She requires a special home who understands that she hasn’t had the best start to life, so need to be patient as she learns that you are not a danger to her.
Molly can be scared of humans and tends to bark at strangers who enter the home. Once she gets to know you though, she will be all over you. Personal space is not an option. When it comes to other dogs however, she adores them all. Having come into our home, she welcomes the newbies and helps them settle in as they get used to the place. She cuddles with her foster brother and sister and is a rocket at the beach running around with all the potential new friends. Given this, Molly’s ideal home would be one with a doggy companion.
She also adores children and grew up with them before coming into care. However, because of her size and age she would be best suited to a home with older children. She would not realise her size with a little one.
Molly’s recall is amazing, she comes when she is called. She also picked up toilet training very quickly and has no problem coming in and out to go to the toilet.
Because of her past life, Molly tends to get very distressed on lead and will need some training to educate her that lead = fun.
Molly needs a home that allows her to sleep inside, will give her affection, exercise and will be patient in allowing her to grow and have trust in the world. She is not an escape artist but can clear a 5ft fence with ease so will need a home with high fences. She is also incredibly food driven so is easy to train, but does like a little midnight snack in the bin.
She loves to laze around the house and will lay around you while you potter around the house, so an ideal home would be one who lets her live inside with the family.
If you think you could provide the special home Molly is looking for, please send her mum Teagan an enquiry to tmlang93@gmail.com Molly is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Molly’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
