About Chase ~ Staffy x Ridgeback (on trial 8/5/2018)
My name is Chase AKA “Beautiful Boy” - well at least that’s what my mum calls me! I’m a very vocal pup - I’ll let you know when I’m hungry, when I’m tired, when I need a cuddle and well you can tell when I’m happy. Just look at my smile! I'm an 8 week old Staffy x Ridgeback.
I’ve had a bit of a slow start in life but now that I’ve discovered food (and a bit of TLC) I’m growing up quite nicely if I do say so myself.
I have my bed on the floor in mum and dad’s room at the moment and when dad leaves for work I sneak into bed with mum until it’s time for breakfast. In my new home please let me sleep near you, I can’t cope on my own.
I hang out with Tank and Zuri my foster siblings during the day and I bet if they could talk they’d call me the ankle biter but I just love them sooooo much! I’ve been well socialised with other dogs, as at one stage there was me, Tank, Zuri and 5 other foster pups all living at mum and dad’s.
I’m picking up basic commands quite quickly. My favourite one is “sit” because that’s when I get my food - yum! But I’d really like to go to puppy school with my new family to teach me more things and to meet new friends. Please understand that I’m still only a little and I will go through that “puppy stage” as they call it, but with training, patience and persistence (and lots of love) I will be such a good boy!
I’m a very inquisitive little man, so my new yard needs to have no gaps or holes where I could possibly escape and fences I can’t jump over when I’m fully grown. My mum and dad will do a yard check to check these things to make sure I will be safe. My new family needs to have someone that doesn’t work full time while I’m adjusting to my forever home.
I can’t wait to meet my new family and find my furever home! If you think I would fit perfectly into your family and would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum via email and she will send the special adoption questionnaire through Brittany_wilson@live.com I am in foster care in Newcastle area.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
