About Abe (aka Grandpa)
This darling boy is ABE (also known as Grandpa as he is senior citizen, who is at least 10 yrs old). He has 4 healthy teeth left & the rest were extracted at some point before he was impounded. He manages to eat well, he just takes a bit of extra time. He can eat dry or wet food.
He was left to die at a pound in QLD as the local rescue felt he was too old to be rehomeable- luckily Grandpa's foster carers came to his rescue in time- they love their cats- of all ages! Boy, does Grandpa know he was SAVED in the nick of time! He is SOOOOOO cuddly, grateful & constantly purring and around his humans.
Sometimes, because his teeth are minimal, Grandpa's tongue will hang out a tiny bit, which is super cute. He's an older gentleman, a senior citizen, so he isn't in perfect condition, he walks a little stiffly and slower than a young cat, but he is completely happy & has a health clearance.
Grandpa is good with cats & dogs, but would be happy also being an only pet. He needs to be indoors only.
If you can offer Grandpa a warm home where he will be loved and cared for, he would love to hear from you. Please contact the ladies at Pound Rescue and they will put you in touch with Grandpa's foster carers.
This boy is in care in MacKay QLD.
