About Fairy ~ Border Collie x Kelpie (on trial 5-5-18)
Fairy is a loyal and loving 2 year old Border Collie x Kelpie looking for her forever home. She is a smart dog who loves stimulating games and is very good at soccer! She would make a wonderful companion and suit an active family who has the time to play and engage with her. While Fairy would benefit from more training, being such a clever girl, she would probably learn quickly.
Fairy is well behaved and gentle with children (including small children). She gets along with other dogs but has not yet been tested with other animals (including cats).
Fairy is a medium sized dog, weighing 15 kg and can sleep indoors or outdoors. However if she is going to be outside, be sure to keep her behind high fences when off the lead as she can be quite the escape artist!
Fairy does not bark much but she is protective of her humans and will tell you when someone is approaching the house.
For more information or to meet Fairy, please contact her foster carer Jeranne at jeranne@iinet.net.au. Fairy is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Fairy’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
