Meika

Meet little Meika, or as we like to call her, Cheeky Meiky!

Meika is a brown & white Siberian husky with the most beautiful icy blue eyes. She is under 2 years of age and is an absolute delight to have around.

She loves her humans and people in general. She is very friendly and affectionate towards people and always insists on saying hi and giving nose kisses to people around when we go for walks.

Meika walks well on lead but gets excited at first but will settle.
She can sit, shake both paws and drop on command but would like to be rewarded with a treat. She also has excellent car etiquette and loves car rides.

She loves nothing more than playing with her toys and if she likes you, she will push her toy towards your knee and invite you to play. She loves tug of war with her rope toy and also loves her Mr piggy squeaky toy, but like all Huskies loves to kill the squeak.

Occasionally, Meika loves to chat and will let you know how she feels. Meika will do best if her humans were home often and have a big yard as she likes to be outside. She is looking for a home that has a male husky or dog of similar size to her to keep her company.

Meika does play a little rough and would prefer to play with dogs her size or bigger. She loves nothing more than going for a run with her humans before settling for a walk to cool off.

We find she loves going out twice a day, or once a day is fine as long as you have a big yard for her to run around in. She needs to be fed separately until she trusts/settles in if you have another dog as she can be quite territorial.

Meika is sure to be a wonderful addition to any family who understands and have experience with owning a husky.
