About Jake ~ Jack Russell (on trial 7/5/2018)
Jake is an 11 months old active fun loving Jack Russell guy. His ideal home would be with an equally active family who will make him part of the family and include him in their day to day lives.
Jake’s ideal home would have children over 5 years old. He would enjoy a doggy friend but would be also happy as only dog too as long as he has plenty of interaction with the family.
Jake would be perfect for a home with no pocket pets, cats and little fluffy dogs. He will require access inside and to be allowed to sleep inside.
Jake loves to go for rides in the car and for walks. He is a good little boy who sits for a treat and loves to play fetch with a toy. If you are looking for a fun companion who loves to play and knows just when to settle and be your couch buddy then Jake is a perfect dog for you.
For more information or to meet Jake, please contact his foster carer Victoria on vdavies93@gmail.com Jake is in foster care in Kurri Kurri area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jake’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
