Socks

They call me Socks because of my white paws. I look a lot like my brother Smokey, but have white socks, white whiskers and a little white on my neck. Else I am a little charcoal tabby (black fur tips, white underneath & tabby pattern) like him, but with longer fur (DMH). We are all about 12 weeks old. They also tell me I am the smallest of my brothers. Doesn't mean I'm not in charge. He he, on the contrary.

We came into this world 'by accident' when my furry mummy accidentally got outdoors and after being lost for 4 weeks found herself pregnant. Those were tough weeks for my mummy (they say), but how lucky are we, else we wouldn't be here at all. My siblings and I Thank God every day for this 'accident' and that my mummy found her way home again eventually.

The big furless cats on two legs are nice, too. They always bring me food and water, pat me nicely and give me massages. And they talk funny to me, like "Awww, who is the cutest kitty in the world? Yes, it's you, you you!" And then they tickle my belly.

They also come in smaller versions, as in, the furless two legged cats have two legged furless kittens, too. They call them 'kids'. I like those especially, as they play with me lots. They have fluffy toys for us, feathery toys and rattling balls. I love chasing them all. And when they carry me around, I'm never too sure what will happen next, but enjoy getting to see the world from up high. I also like crawling into small spaces on or near the floor. I do love when the 'kids' take me to bed and cuddle with me. Especially now that is getting cold I enjoy the warmths of their doonas & soft embrace. I also love crawling into my soft and cosy covered cat bed, when my brothers or human siblings are not around to cuddle up with me and keep me warm.

I have been to 2 different homes so far, but am told I will find a 3rd one, which will be the best, as it will be my *furever home* (with furless big cats on two legs) and hopefully a little furry friend similar to my siblings, too. I can't wait to find out who they will be. Maybe it will be with you?
